Hello Kari and all----Just a quick note on how much I LOVE my Caldwell--I'm sure you hear that all the time. Heading back home from World Paint Horse Congress---won the world congress title in Amateur Barrels and in Amateur Stakes, third overall in Amateur Poles---then in the open --third overall in barrels, reserve in poles and stakes---Overall Dutchess was named Hi-Point Champion Amateur Speed horse and HI-Point Reserve Champion Open Speed Horse---she won a World Champion buckle and 2 Champion jackets!! and she won all the jackpot money!! Had a great weekend and I just thought I'd email you and tell you thanks for making such a great saddle and can't wait to get my next one (January or February right?). If you ask anyone that knows me, I rarely have a loss for words, but I just received my new Caldwell and I was rendered speechless for a while.

Kari and Charon had looked at some pictures of my mare and recommended the Rocket. I had problems with my mare with being cinchy and when I asked her to step off after being cinched, she would jump sideways like something had jabbed her in the ribs. She would walk fine under saddle but when asked to make a circle at any gait, she would bolt. It made riding impossible and more depressing than a joy. Even worse was that my horse had stopped trusting me.

I saddled her with my new Rocket last night and she was very nervous, but when I cinched her, there was no adverse reaction at all and when I walked her off, she just let out a big breath and walked forward. As for the feel for me, it was the most comfortable ride that I've ever had in my entire life. I am officially a member of the Caldwell Snob Club.

Thank you for never selling out to the mass-produced saddle making like others have. You have brought me and my horse back together and that means the world to me. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!

I wanted to let the Caldwell Saddle Company know that "I LOVED MY NEW SADDLE". I rode it in all Labor Day weekend. I have owned a Caldwell for 10 years starting with a used one that I bought in 1998 when I began barrel racing. It is the only saddle that I swear by when running my horse. I do not lose my stirrups or my seat. I have ridden in other saddles, but I like my Caldwell the best. Once again, Thanks for my new saddle. It was worth designing and waiting for it to arrive. Hi Charon!

I just wanted to give you a heads up of everything that I have won in the Caldwell saddle that I had fitted to my horse, Betty, when I was just eleven years old.
